SELF-PUBLISHING AFTER ALL!

Work Shy is just about to be released and I'm sorry I lost touch with this blog. I must confess that the way all the links to social media connect are confusing me. Should I create a website for writing, art and music (the Triple Threat which seems like no threat at all) or concentrate on one thing at a time? I won't really get it until I see the book on the e-reader list at Barnes & Noble. I am more concerned with the cover design for the 5 "copies" that are being printed! Those will run out fast! How much will the print on demand books set me back?

Self-Publishing at last!

Things may be quite depressing but 2020 is my year! I finally signed up with iUniverse and it is quite a buzz. Finishing a line-edit is no problem but working out all the social media angles is intense. Obviously, writing blogs and stories for years has put me in good stead. And recent fiction on Pocket Intellectual has finally come about. That took years of false starts. Basically, I borrow characterizations from WORK SHY where plots and people already exist. Stay tuned.

Second Book!

Sorry about the broken Narrative but keeping more than one blog going is beyond me. Work Shy sits and waits for a real editor or the self-publishing route. Deadline for that is 2020. It's the connecting that is tough. In the meantime, a second story has begun using many of the same characters. I didn't know I had it in me.

Secret Agents?

Still looking for a literary agent for novel Work Shy or perhaps an editor first. The query letter is good but I've had no responses for partials. It makes me think that it is an identical situation to any creative endeavor: How does anyone know you are any good? There is a mass of folks doing the same thing on all fronts. In the meantime, I write and paint.
